A Lynching in America

Whilst the international news was full of stories about two white men who had a drug induced fantasy about attempting to assassinate Barrack Obama (apparently whilst wearing tuxedos ) another news story did not make the headlines.

Like so many of those buried news stories on both sides of the Atlantic, this one shared a common theme in that the victim was white, and as pictured below, the perpetrators were black.

However, the story also featured something which features strongly in US folk law, lynching. Until about 1970, lynching was remembered as something which mostly happened to white people, cattle rustlers and such in the wild west, however since the 70's it has been re-branded as something which was exclusively done to black people by white people.

Maybe it is because this story does not fit with the popular myth it has not become a major news story.

That said, I invite you if you will to imagine quite what proportions this story would have achieved in the unlikely event that the races had been reversed.

Although black crime news of this magnitude would not normally be publicized anyway, that unwritten policy would be especially verboten on the eve of "President" Obama's coronation.

Anyone with a modicum of intelligence and careful analysis could easily see how the MSM has been manipulating the American masses to persuade them to vote for their already-anointed candidate.

In his book “Propaganda,” Edward Bernays wrote:

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government, which is the true ruling power of our country.”

Check out the video at the end of this article, which is also a condemnation of how newspapers manipulate the news.
