More Benefits of Diversity

I see that China, a country which is famously a net exporter of immigrants, has become the second largest economy rapidly catching up on America, a nation now drowning in debt and immigration. Meanwhile, the immigrant friendly UK has plummeted from fourth place to sixth in the world ranking and is still falling. At the same time, India, a country which is probably the greatest net exporter of immigrants on the planet, whilst fiercely restricting inward migration, has risen to 11th place rivalling both Russia and Canada for a place in the top 10.

Despite this we are forever told that that immigration benefits our economies and our national well being. Yet, those who make such claims tend to be less explicit when asked to substantiate or quantify their assertions.

This is hardly surprising, for as Britain struggles to recover from the worst recession in our history, and one which hit us following a decade of inward immigration at levels unseen in any European country in history, is it not legitimate to ask where exactly is this much vaunted benefit.

Inward migration to both China and India is all but non-existent, yet while our economies are in free fall their economies are soaring.

By comparison, both Greece and Ireland the two earliest casualties (so far) of the so called global economic crisis, both experienced massive levels of inward immigration, before the whole thing fell apart. This same story is being repeated throughout Europe and North America. With the single exception of Germany, we are all in a state of rapid economic decline, despite enthusiastically importing the mass I which was supposed to be out salvation.

“We all benefit from our vibrant m society” the great and the good keep telling us, “Divesity is our strength” but the evidence supporting this claims becomes less credible by the day.

It is not only countries which are suffering the consequences of this delusion, it is also not doing corporations much good either.

Two of the largest casualties of the 2008 economic collapse were A, which required a bailout from the US government eventually totalling $150 billion and RBS which ended up 60% owned by the UK taxpayers, Previously both companies appeared to be booming, however, I would draw your attention to these two new stories which appeared in the three years leading up to the crisis:

14 February 2005 – RBS Appoints new Head of Diversity

and

12 January 2007 – AIG names first chief diversity officer

Makes you think doesn’t it? Diversity is our strength huh? I think not.

Multi-cultural cop shop

Sgt. Delroy Smellie on the job
By Pym Purnell

First there was Ali (G) Dizaei, claimed racists stopped him getting the top jobs and then assaulted a member of an ethnic group after not paying him. Luckily Ali (G) D’s name has also cropped up in other
cases.

Then came Sgt Smellie who assaulted a white women with his truncheon (nudge nudge, wink wink).

And now welcome Officer Salim Razaq who hid weapons for his drug dealing brother.

But that's not the end of the good news, there was also Dr Ubandi who killed a man, Dr Sabah Al-Zayyat who said Baby Peter was grumpy when he had a broken back and died a few days later.

Hey – lets not forget education – Nisar Ahmed, who has been banned for life from teaching for incompetence.

I don't know about you, but cases like these make me so glad that Diversity and positive action programs are making us a safer, healthier and brainier country.

Please David and Cleggy, can we have more.

Diversity is Strength?

"We benefit so greatly from diversity" squawk the multi-cultural zealots as they seek to impose more of their unnatural diversity upon us. "Our diversity is our strength!"

""Strength"? not if you are a native western European shrimp being literally eaten alive by immigrants arriving from the East.

As this news story shows, as American gray squirrels, Japanese Knotweed, spider crabs wild mink and numerous other imported alien species before them bad demonstrated, thoughout nature unnatural imported diversity causes untold devastation.

The Myth of Diversity

By Jared Taylor
Initially published American Renaissance, July/August 1997

The idea that diversity is one of the country’s great strengths is now so firmly rooted that virtually anyone can evoke it, praise it, and wallow in it without fear of contradiction. It has become one of the great unassailably American ideas, like democracy, patriotism, the family, or Martin Luther King.

The President of the United States glories in diversity. In May 1995, in a message recognizing the Mexican holiday, Cinco de Mayo, William Clinton said, “The Fifth of May offers all of us a chance to celebrate the cultural diversity that helps to make our nation great.” A few days later, when he designated May as Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, he said, “With the strength of our diversity and a continued commitment to the ideal of freedom, all Americans will share in the blessings of the bright future that awaits us.” In his 1996 speech accepting the nomination for President, he asked the audience to look around the hall and take heart in how varied the Democratic party was.

In his 1996 Columbus Day proclamation, he said, “The expedition that Columbus . . . began more than 500 years ago, continues today as we experience and celebrate the vibrant influences of varied civilizations, not only from Europe, but also from around the world. America is stronger because of this diversity, and the democracy we cherish flourishes in the great mosaic we have created since 1492.”

Appeals to diversity are not just for domestic consumption. In a 1996 speech before the Australian parliament, President Clinton noted that both the United States and Australia were becoming increasingly diverse, and added, And, yes, we [Australia and America] can prove that free societies can embrace the economic and social changes, and the ethnic, racial and religious diversity this new era brings and come out stronger and freer than ever.

Hillary Clinton feels the same way. In February 1995, she spoke to the students of her former high school in the Chicago suburb of Park Ridge. She noticed there were many more non-whites among the students than when she was a student, 30 years earlier. We didn’t have the wonderful diversity of people that you have here today, said Mrs. Clinton. I’m sad we didn’t have it, because it would have been a great value, as I’m sure you will discover.

Diversity has clearly become one of those orotund, high-sounding sentiments with which politicians lard their speeches. Of course, the idea that diversity at least of the kind that Mr. and Mrs. Clinton are promoting is a great advantage for America is one of the most obviously stupid propositions ever to see the light of day.

Nevertheless there is one kind of diversity that is an advantage. A contractor, for example, cannot build houses if he hires only electricians. He needs carpenters, plumbers, etc. a diverse work force. However, functional diversity of this kind is not what the Chief Executive is on about. He is talking about largely non-functional differences like race, language, age, sex, culture and sexuality. One might call this status diversity.

What advantages would a contractor get from a mixed work force of that kind? None. What are the advantages the United States gets from a racially mixed population? None.

The idea that status diversity is a strength is not merely a myth, but a particularly transparent one. Explaining why diversity is bad for a country is a little like explaining why cholera is bad for it; the trick is to understand how anyone could possibly think it was good.

At the End of the Day, Diversity has Jumped the Shark

By Ann Coulter

It cannot be said often enough that the chief of staff of the United States Army, Gen. George Casey, responded to a massacre of 13 Americans in which the suspect is a Muslim by saying: "Our diversity ... is a strength."

As long as the general has brought it up: Never in recorded history has diversity been anything but a problem. Look at Ireland with its Protestant and Catholic populations, Canada with its French and English populations, Israel with its Jewish and Palestinian populations.

Or consider the warring factions in India, Sri Lanka, China, Iraq, Czechoslovakia (until it happily split up), the Balkans and Chechnya. Also look at the festering hotbeds of tribal warfare -- I mean the beautiful mosaics -- in Third World hellholes like Afghanistan, Rwanda and South Central, L.A.
