A large number of readers have written to me asking why Mike Smith's Political Commentary is currently offline. I am afraid I do not have any answers at the moment, but I am seeking to find out, and will update you as soon as I get any information.
It has been suggested that Mike is merely taking a break, lets hope that is the case, and that he will be returning shortly.
If anyone has further information, please leave a comment below or write to me privately.

His last posting did say.. "One thing that troubles bloggers such as I is the occasional visit of Nietzsche’s monsters. It is inevitable and something that one gets accustomed to after such a long stint at the front line...and five years is a long time. But we know how to deal with it; Take a break and rejuvenate. So it has become time for Uncle Cracker to take a small break and go recharge the old batteries. I need to go get my arse wet, blow some bubbles and scuba dive a few pristine reefs…and of course sip some cocktails on the deck of a liveaboard afterwards." Hopefully he will be back soon. BTW, I also noticed one now has to log-in to Google & request invite by the author to access the blogm but it is still accessable via google reader so all is not lost.
You can find Mike on I Luv SA . His last post was about 7 days ago since he has decided to take a break and go fishing .......will be back in due course .
Emma West badges now been removed from E bay and T shirts sales now suspended. The case its just too hot to handle- Another example of PC state stopping free speech. Prison sentences are being dished out to nationalists to stop them.

If that is so why are only certain so called "invited bloggers" allowed acces to it? It does not make sense at all. Do the invited bloggers pay a subscription rate for this benefit?
He is indeed taking a short break, but it is now turning into quite a looong break!
