South African farmer Andries du Toit was killed this morning and his wife severely injured during an attack on their farm.
According to police five men entered the Klipplaatdrift property in Ventersdorp at about 4.00am and attacked the couple. A struggle ensued, during which the farmer was killed and his wife severely assaulted.

Bartholomew, don't be so dismissive. I don't know whether it's a conspiracy, or an evolutionary group strategy*, or a cultural predisposition to utopianism, but the fact is that Jews were prominent in the destruction of South Africa. No Quaker "heroes of the struggle" are recorded, but think of the most prominent anti-apartheid agitators: Helen Suzman, Helen Joseph, Helen Zille (hmmm... I see a pattern developing...), Joe Slovo, and let's not forget Harry Oppenheimer, who boasted "Yes, I was the quiet engine behind the ANC". That's just off the top of my head.

He was a practising Jew until he married. He was ethnically Jewish his whole life long. He was a Zionist all his life.
I can't judge whether his conversion was just an empty gesture to please his wife. Lots of Christians are also besotted with the "God's Chosen People" myth. Personally, I doubt whether he had any road-to-Damascus epiphany. What I am sure of is that his subsequent actions were generally good for the Jews, and very bad for South Africa.
According to his Wikipedia biography he switched from Judaism to the Church of England when he got married.

Surely everyone can agree that best label for the enemy that covers all the bases, no matter how one sees that enemy, is the "Liberal Elite". Any further sub-division is both unnecessary and counter-productive.

Its a very mild proposition, so mild that in theory no one could disagree with it. It only needs 100,000 signatures to be debated in parliament and has gone well past that now but the more signatures, the louder the message.
